Sherri Cunningham offers pastoral care for individuals and families in the St. Augustine community navigating grief, loss, life transitions, recovery, health crises and spiritual awakening.
Rooted in Science of Mind principles, she creates a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your questions, process difficult emotions, and discover the strength already within you.

Oneness
Spirit is personal to anyone who is willing to be open to its presence. We can be comforted by its peace and guided by its presence in our life. The more we meditate and practice being intentional, the more we become aware of our intuitive and spiritual nature.
Spirit is present & personal
There is only one Divine Intelligence, known by many names: God, Great Spirit, Higher Power, Yahweh, Allah and many more. We consider this “God” to be without form or gender and often refer to it simply as Spirit. All people and all life are connected with this Divine Essence. Each person is all Spirit, and yet Spirit is much more than each person.
Spirit expresses through us
Spirit seeks to express its unconditional love and acceptance of all faiths, cultures, races and orientations through us. The more we let go of limiting thinking and judgments, and the more willing we are to forgive, the more Spirit can express its love through us in our own unique way.
Wholeness
Spirit is a transcendent, perfect whole that contains and embraces all seeming opposites. As human beings we have free will and can choose what we experience. The same Principle that brings freedom, prosperity and joy also allows us to experience bondage, lack or misery, according to our consciousness.

What is CSL First City?

What is Science of Mind?
Science of Mind is a spiritual philosophy founded by Ernest Holmes in the early twentieth century. It teaches that there is one Divine Intelligence, that each person is a unique expression of that Spirit, and that we can change our experience by changing our thinking. It honors wisdom from many faiths.
Is CSL First City a Christian church?
CSL First City is a non-denominational spiritual community. We honor the truth found in all faiths and welcome people of any religion, or none. We call the Divine by many names, including God, Spirit and Higher Power.
Is CSL First City LGBTQIA+ friendly?
Yes. CSL First City is a certified STA Safe partner with House of Prism, welcoming LGBTQIA+ people without fear of discrimination.
What happens at the Monday Meditation & Sound Bath?
Every Monday at 7:15 PM we light candles, speak our intentions, draw guidance cards, and then enter a guided or music meditation with healing sound bowls. It is offered by love offering.
