What to expect

What if the answers you’ve been seeking are already within you? Ernest Holmes taught that Religious Science is “something intelligent to think about, something satisfying to believe in, and something practical to use” — and that is exactly what we gather to explore every Monday evening.

Together we listen to Cynthia James’ recording of The Science of Mind, read along, and discuss what comes up for each of us personally. The textbook teaches that the Kingdom of Heaven is not someplace we are going; it is somewhere we already are. As Holmes reminds us, “the Kingdom of God is not something we create, not something we purchase, but something we must realize.”

Whether you are brand new to Science of Mind or have been walking this path for years, there is always more to uncover.

“The Truth it teaches is old… but it has always been more or less handicapped by the dogmas and superstitions imposed upon it.”

— Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind
